I already talked about big names in Hollywood who died in the last year and decade. What about the legends who are still with us?
Kirk, Lauren, Elizabeth, Sidney, Mickey, Olivia, Joan, Albert and Peter. They're all still with us. They're our only links to the Golden Age. Those links are crumbling quickly. Once they're gone, so is the Golden Age.
Which directors are still with us? Lumet and Nichols are a few examples. They directed films that are considered some of the best movies ever made. When they pass on, their vision passes on as well.
What is the point I'm making here? Embrace the movies they have made. Because once they're gone, they're gone. And you never know when they'll pass on.
Woody Allen, Jean-Luc Godard, Clint Eastwood, Martin Scorsese, Roman Polanski...

That's a nice thought, but anyone can die. Shouldn't we cherish it all then?
