And that opening sequence is one of the best things I have ever seen in a movie.100 Years of Movieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05576004166082807745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8073025888325415158.post-43691776978775972802011-07-06T19:40:34.761-04:002011-07-06T19:40:34.761-04:00it really is more of an ensemble piece, a GREAT en...it really is more of an ensemble piece, a GREAT ensemble piece at that. it took me a while to like this movie because it wasn't what i was expecting from tarantino but it really is very good. melanie laurent and diane kruger were the best.Candice Frederickhttp://ticketstubz.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8073025888325415158.post-50692638358271965082011-07-06T16:28:49.642-04:002011-07-06T16:28:49.642-04:00I really like Tarantino's films, but ultimatel...I really like Tarantino's films, but ultimately it's a matter of personal taste, so you should definitely see more from him, and since he hasn't done that many films, it should be easy to do so!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12100758997830469219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8073025888325415158.post-71835130794497611722011-07-06T14:31:35.036-04:002011-07-06T14:31:35.036-04:00Quentin is a rare talent i think coz he never shy&...Quentin is a rare talent i think coz he never shy's away from making blood soaked movies and even when he creates characters I think he just lets the characters create their part. I mean he lets the characters take over the story and guide it to its end, which may sometimes be not the most expected ones.

IB is fascinating and Chris Waltz is simply breath taking. Derivative,...I'm on the fence about Tarantino. Derivative, narcissistic, self-serving and has little to say (except about comic books). And that's the stuff that people seem to love.

HOWEVER, he IS a real talent when he's clicking on all cylinders. The aforementioned Jackie Brown, parts of Pulp Fiction, God help me, I was impressed with Death Proof.

And Inglourious Basterds—misspelled so as not to compete with another film with that name—yeah, it's a movie about movies but I think it's the best thing he's ever done. When Pitt said the last line, I thought, "Yeah, buddy..."
This Tarantino kid may go far..."Yojimbo_5"https://www.blogger.com/profile/12791996320278381516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8073025888325415158.post-86846555268718633172011-07-06T05:38:58.837-04:002011-07-06T05:38:58.837-04:00I love Inglourious Basterds.
