50 Movies I'll Watch in 2011

Since I've been seeing a number of these lists for the last week or so, I thought I might make one too. In no particular order here are the 50 movies, old and relatively new, I will watch this year.

There'll obviously be other movies throughout the year, but I really plan on watching these. And considering I saw over 200 movies last year, I'll get through these just fine.

What else would you suggest I see?

  2. I'm really interested in reading your opinion on There Will Be Blood. The ending in particular, it's really shocking, but at the same time I found it strangely funny.

  4. I see you've managed to watch almost all of them. Of the ones you have left, I would highly recommend Ikuru and The Ox-Bow Incident. Rashomon is a classic for the device of different perspectives on a story. The Breakfast Club is a classic for the 80s generation. Barton Fink is slow for the first hour or so then really takes off. In the Name of the Father didn't do much for me.
